YouTube Reverses Decision to Revoke 'Verified' Status of Some Creators
YouTube CEO, Susan Wojcicki, has apologized to creators on the platform for the visitor's sudden and highly unpopular decision to revoke their 'Verified' badges. In a tweet a few hours earlier, Wojcicki said: "I'm sorry for the frustration [and] injure that we caused with our new approach to verification. While trying to make improvements, we missed the marker. Equally I write this, we're working to address your concerns & we'll have more updates presently".

The amends follows the recent announcement of YouTube'due south now-revoked verification policy that the visitor said will help users more easily place the YouTube channels of popular websites, blogs and personalities.
